Coopers Best Extra Stout

Deep black appearance

THE CRAFT
An all-malt brew, naturally conditioned in keg and bottle, Coopers Best Extra Stout owes its depth and darkness to the generous use of specially roasted black malt. Like all Coopers beers, it’s free of additives and preservatives, and can be enjoyed young or cellared for even greater complexity.
THE TASTE
Pouring jet black with an espresso crema head, Coopers Extra Stout delivers layers of dark fruit, roasted malt and chocolate, balanced by firm hop bitterness. The result is a satisfying dry finish that defines true stout style beer, bold, complex and unmistakably Coopers.
THE EXPERIENCE
“Coopers Best Extra Stout is one of our most awarded beers,” says Nick Sterenberg, operations manager at Coopers Brewery. “Our stout has taught me how an aged stout can produce something very special indeed, and I'm not a fan of ageing beers. Coopers Stout has the right proportions of alcohol and the amount of roasted materials in the brew to make it happen. When they combine over time, our stout develops a pronounced vanilla flavour which is just excellent."
